Ancient Greek  336 - 323 BC Alexander III The Great - King Of Macedonia Silver Drachum Coin.  This wonderful artifact is crafted from silver.  Featuring a bust of young Hercules , with head draped in lion-skin headdress and Zeus enthroned with eagle in right hand and Scepter in the left on reverse side of the coin. The authentic coin has been dated between 336 - 323 AD. The coin has a beautiful silver patina.  Truly a perfect gift or wonderful piece of history for any antiquity collection. 

Note: Zeus (Hercules father) is the Olympian god of the sky and the thunder, the king of all other gods and men, and consequently the chief figure in Greek mythology. The son of Cronus and Rhea, he is probably most famous for his infidelity to his sister and wife , Hera. His children are Aeacus, Angelos, Aphrodite, Apollo, ... His siblings are Hestia, Hades, Hera, Poseidon... and his home is mount Olympus. 

Hercules, born Alcaeus or Alcides was a divine hero in Greek mythology, the son of Zeus and Alcmene, foster son of Amphitryon.
