Cascade Of Crimson - Vintage Sterling Silver Ruby & Marcasite Parure.  This extraordinary set is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling.  Featuring 26 natural oval cut faceted rubies , 250 rose-cut marcasite, Victorian Revival styling, and quality silver-work.  The expertly claw set rubies are a medium red colour with a pink hue.  There are 11 dangles on the necklace, featuring clusters of sapphires and sparkling marcasite.  The front portion of the necklace are set with the precious rubies and the back are silver links set with marcasite. The clasp is a secure fold and clip style which is in perfect working order.  The earrings are for pierced ears, featuring posts and secure butterfly backs. They have beautiful surmounts of sapphire surrounded by marcasite, whilst the dangles on the earrings match the necklace perfectly.  This statement parure is substantial, elegant and quite simply beautiful. An absolutely breathtaking Vintage set for any special occasion or wonderful addition to your collection of jewels.
