Sweeter Than Wine - Victorian Renaissance Revival 14K Heart Garnet & Enamel Ring. This wonderful ring is crafted from 14K gold, tested. Featuring a natural heart shaped garnet, exquisite detail and quality gold-work. The central portion of this ring showcases a deep red wine coloured garnet, housed beautifully by a very fine scalloped bezel. The garnet is surrounded by a frame of black enamel and gold detailing. The shoulders feature beautiful engravings , leading down to a simple polished smooth band, which allows for a comfortable fit. The colour of the gold is warm mellow yellow colour. It also has a closed back filled with gold, a characteristic of Georgian jewelry, however this treasure falls into the Renaissance revival period.
