Vintage sterling silver abalone & marcasite ring. This ring is sterling silver with a 925 hallmark(sterling silver hallmark) inside the band of the ring. It has the most beautiful abalone that is bezel set. The abalone has waves of colour and texture. The abalone shows a beautiful pearlized effect when the light hits the gem. Mostly greens and turquoise blue , however when the light hits the stone hints of pink colour are present. The abalone is surrounded by a very pretty silver setting and marcasites that add sparkle around the abalone and down the sides of the band. This ring has an Art Deco feel . It is elegant, and so interesting. The ring can be worn with everything, casually or an evening out. Just beautiful.
