Vintage sterling silver amethyst & marcasite cross. This gorgeous cross and chain is crafted from sterling silver, both are hallmarked 925 for sterling and a makers mark of Italy. Featuring a genuine amethyst, genuine rose-cut marcasite and quality silver work. The cross is intricate and displays exquisite detail and cut-out work, encrusted with sparkling marcasite throughout the pendant . A beautiful sparkling deep purple oval faceted amethyst takes centre stage which is offset by the beautiful silver work. The chain is a sturdy and very pretty foxtail chain, which is hand finished for a smooth finish in Italy, featuring a very sturdy lobster claw clasp in perfect working order.
