Art Nouveau- topaz & marcasite sterling silver vintage pendant. This gorgeous pendant is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring genuine blue topaz, genuine marcasite and quality silver-work. The articulated pendant focuses on a open circle, with bows and and scroll work, and a beautiful heart shape blue topaz drop. Another drop suspends from the circle with leaf like detail and a lovely marquise blue topaz drop. The blue topaz are sky blue in colour, faceted for additional sparkle and expertly bezel set. The top of the piece features a decorative bail and ornate finial, encrusted with rose-cut marcasites. Matched up to a contemporary diamond cut chain , working beautifully in enhancing the sparkling marcasites. The clasp is a secure spring ring , in perfect working order. The wonderful vintage treasure is an Art Nouveau Victorian Revival piece, absolutely perfect for a bridal necklace or addition to any jewelry collection.
