Vintage sterling silver ruby & marcasite earrings. These gorgeous earrings are crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring genuine rubies, genuine marcasite and quality silver-work. The expertly claw-set oval rubies are deep red in colour with a rosy hue in different light intensities, surrounded by a silver ribbon type frame with milgrain detail, encrusted with sparkling rose-cut marcasite gemstones. The earrings are feminine and elegant , simulating a Victorian Art Nouveau style with it's delicate ribbon work. The back of these earrings are fabulous secure hinged lever backs, the posts click into the slot, and are in perfect working order. These earrings would make a perfect gift or wonderful addition to any jewelry collection.
