Victorian Paste & Faux Tortoiseshell "Lucky Horseshoe" Hair Comb (VICA004)

Victorian paste & faux tortoiseshell " Lucky Horseshoe" comb.  This lovey comb is crafted from faux tortoiseshell (plastic) and beautiful clear old cut paste gems.  The settings look to be copper or a gilt metal, with lovely delicate claws that hold onto the faceted clear, bright paste stones. The cut of these antique stones hold a beauty of their own,  and sparkle like diamonds under different light intensities.  The tines are simulate tortoiseshell, amber in colour with slight variation in the colouration.  The comb looks stunning when worn, simple but elegant , this lovely " Lucky Horseshoe" comb would be perfect for a bride and versatile enough that it can be worn day or night.  Truly a very special Victorian comb to be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come.
