Caspian Jewel - Ancient Persian 100 AD - 300 AD Intaglio Horse Bead. This amazing bead is genuine orange aventurine. It has a wonderful carved horse on the front of the gem with a decorative edging. The back of the bead is polished and shiny. There is a drilled hole through one side of the bead to the other side so it can be threaded onto wire, silk thread or cord and made into a necklace or pendant. The Jewel can also be left as is, and displayed. The colour of the gem is a beautiful burnt orange , it is opaque, shiny and smooth. Truly a wonderful Ancient find, to be enjoyed for many years to come.
