Charlemagne's Treasure - Medieval 9th -11th Century Silver Cross Pendant. This wonderful artifact is crafted from silver, confirmed. Featuring Medieval designing, exquisite detail and quality silver-work. This cross has a lovely shape with beautiful detail. Upon photography remnants of original green enamel was found. Most has worn off through the ages, however it has left this precious piece with a fantastic aged patina. The central portion exhibits a cross with 4 smaller crosses in each corner, framed by circle. The back of the cross is plain and also displays an aged patina. It is recommended that the cross is not polished, which will keep the integrity and antiquity of the ancient piece. The bale has little wear and is still substantial and solid. The cross has been matched ups to a contemporary sterling silver chain, which matches up perfectly with the pendant. This authentic Medieval era cross would make a wonderful addition to any early collection.

Note: Antiquities are luxury items, which can be worn with care. To clean use a damp cloth with water (no chemicals) and pat dry with soft cloth.
