These earrings features two oval shaped faceted glass gemstone, 24 round cut faceted crystal rhinestones,  vintage classic styling, and quality craftsmanship. These earrings are  comprised of expertly claw-set royal blue glass sapphire gemstones, which is enhanced by a sparkling clear crystal rhinestone surround. The earrings are for pierced ears, featuring posts , and suction cup backings. These vintage earrings look wonderful when worn, and are truly a real eye-catching piece. 

History: Glass gemstones, or "paste" jewelry, have a rich history spanning over 4,000 years, originating around 3500-2500 BCEin Mesopotamia and Egypt, where they were first created as, and used to imitate, valuable gems like lapis lazuli and turquoise.
