Fire Moon - Renaissance 17th - 18th Century Bronze Paste Gemstone Ring. This wonderful artifact is crafted from bronze. Featuring Medieval styling, a paste antique cut gemstone, and quality bronze work. This lovely ring boasts a rose cut faceted ruby paste gemstone set into a delicate clawed surround. The shoulders on the ring are plain and slightly rounded, leading down to a smooth shank, which allows for a comfortable fit. The ring displays a wonderful deep bronze patina. The back of the gallery is solid, which adds strength and durability to the Ancient ring. The Renaissance era ring is highly collectable, truly a unique gift or addition to any early collection.

The Renaissance was a fervent period of European cultural, artistic, political and economic “rebirth” following the Middle Ages. Generally described as taking place from the 14th century to the 17th century, the Renaissance promoted the rediscovery of classical philosophy, literature and art.
