Gørsimi - Ancient Viking 8th-11th Century Bronze Twist Ring. This amazing ring is crafted from bronze. Featuring an attractive twisted design (typically found in Viking rings) , and a beautiful polished patina. The top part of the ring is thicker and wider, the back is plain and polished, which allows for a comfortable fit. The ring was professionally restored to its full glory and looks like it was originally suppose to be (like gold). This process of this professional cleaning on artifacts is done by hand (no chemicals), which painstakingly has removed any unwanted build-up of centuries of corrosion. This rare artifact would make a perfect unique gift or addition to any early collection. Just wonderful!
Note: Gørsimi means treasure in Old Norse language.
It is recommended that the artifact is not immersed into any cleaners or liquid. To clean only use water on a damp (not saturated) soft cloth. Gently wipe the amulet and use a soft dry cloth to pat dry.
The Vikings originated from the area that became modern-day Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. They settled in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Iceland, Greenland, North America, and parts of the European mainland, among other places.
