Knífr - Ancient Viking 8th-11th Century Bronze Scabbard Amulet Pendant. This wonderful pendant is crafted from bronze, featuring a fantastic ancient design, and quality bronze work. This piece is designed as a scabbard, it is a handmade amulet with nice detail. The detail displays a raised ribbed decoration, in the form of miniature scabbard with a dagger fitted into the protective cover. The patina on this artifact is lovely, a deep silvery bronze colour, with a shiny silky smooth finish. The precious artifact is solid and sturdy and in fine state of preservation. The dagger has been matched up to a contemporary black leather cord, and ring. The leather cord has a secure sturdy lobster claw clasp. This rare artifact would make a perfect unique gift or wonderful addition to any early collection.
Note: Knífr : Means knife or dagger in Old Norse language. These knives and dagger amulets were worn for good luck while hunting.
