Medievak Byzantine 12th-13th Century Crested Bird Bronze Ring.  This Ancient Ring is crafted from bronze. Featuring a wonderful design, quality bronze work and beautiful primitive hand etching.  The face of the ring is circular with etchings of a crested bird and foliage.  The shoulders of the ring have a raised design, whilst the shank is substantial and solid.  The ring has a beautiful aged bronze patina. This ring is museum quality, truly a rare artifact for an important collection. 

Note:  The Byzantine Empire, also referred to as the Eastern Roman Empire, was the continuation of the Roman Empire in the East during Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages.
