Exquisite Faith - Vintage 14k Gold Diamond Filigree Cross Pendant. This lovey cross is crafted from 14K gold, hallmarked 14K. The chain is crafted from 14K gold fill, hallmarked 1/20 14K. Featuring one natural round cut diamond, exquisite detail, and vintage styling. This beautiful cross exhibits a wonderful shape, with diamond cut marquise detailing, and filigree work. It also showcases an expertly claw-set sparkling diamond on the central portion of the cross. The bale is small, yet substantial, and displays a classic fluted design. The pendant has been matched up to a 14K gold fill chain, which looks perfect with the cross. It has a secure spring ring clasp, in perfect working order. The vintage pendant would make a perfect addition to any fine jewelry collection.

History: The earliest diamonds were found in India in 4th century BC, although the youngest of these deposits were formed 900 million years ago. A majority of these early stones were transported along the network of trade routes that connected India and China, commonly known as the Silk Road.
