Juniper Jewels - Vintage Silver Plated Crystal Rhinestone Clip-On Earrings. These gorgeous earrings are crafted from silver plate over metal. Featuring numerous pear shaped faceted crystals, vintage styling, and quality craftsmanship. These earrings are created in the form of foliage, which is adorned by beautiful juniper green, and apple green crystals. The crystals sparkle beautifully, and the earrings are in wonderful condition. They are for non pierced and pierced ears, featuring a clip-on style backing. These vintage earrings look stunning when worn, truly a wonderful addition to any vintage jewelry collection.

History: Rhinestones which are also known as diamantes or paste date back as far as the thirteenth century where they were first made from Czechoslovakian or Bohemian hand blown glass. The term rhinestone came along later, when rock crystals were discovered in and around the shores of the river Rhine in Austria.
