St Justin - Estate Bronze Celtic Garnet Engraved Cross.  This lovely hand-made cross is crafted from bronze, with a makers mark St Justin, on the back of the cross.  Featuring a synthetic round cut garnet,  an Ancient Celtic design, and quality bronze work.  This pendant is made in the form of a cross, beautifully sculpted with exquisite engraving to the front and the back of the piece.  The central portion of the cross features an expertly bezel set vibrant red wine garnet.  The cross has its original chain, box and cards on the maker and history of the piece.  This St Justin Estate piece is highly collectable and a lovely quality. 

History: Every item of silver, bronze, pewter and Cornish tin jewellery from St Justin  is created by local craftspeople.  Situated just 400 metres from the beach, they are influenced by the sea, the sand, the wildlife, tin mining and the azure blue colours that surrounds them. 

The Celtic jewellery, made in Cornwall, spans 4,000 years of history. Alongside it they also make Viking jewellery and collections based on nature.

Centuries ago tin was mined in Cornwall and shipped all over the world. One cargo of this tin was wrecked in 1863 and has since been recovered to make great 10th wedding anniversary Cornish tin gifts.

For those of you wishing to celebrate 8 years the metal is bronze.

The Staffordshire Hoard : On the 5th of July, 2009, whilst metal - detecting on farmland in the Southern Staffordshire, Terry Hubert began to unearth the largest hoard of Anglo - Saxon treasure ever found, Comprising over 1500 items in gold, silver and other alloys and valued at 3.3 million Great Britain Pounds, the collection is thought to date back to the later 7th and early 8th centuries. St Justin has recreated history by producing items inspired by this amazing find.
