Foster & Bailey- Victorian Gold Fill Amethyst Paste Ornate Heart Charm Bracelet.  This  wonderful bracelet is crafted from gold fill, hallmarked F&B for Foster & Bailey.  Featuring 13 amethyst paste oval faceted gemstones, exquisite detail, and quality craftsmanship. The bracelet is comprised of ornate panels expertly bezel set with rich purple paste gemstones (antique glass) .  The panels are attached by loops, which allow the bracelet to have flexibility.  The open-worked panels are beautifully made , which exquisite detailing.  There is a lovely heart charm on the bracelet displaying scrolls and a  exquisite milgrain border. The clasp is a secure lobster claw style that would have been added on to the bracelet at some later point in time for easy access and usage.  This Victorian era bracelet is beautifully made, highly collectible, and created by a well known maker.  Beautiful piece! 

Foster and Bailey. Foster and Bailey was an American silversmith that operated between the years of 1878 and 1898. Prior to that the firm was known as White & Foster, from around 1873 up until 1878. Between 1898 and 1951 the company continued to operate under the name Theodore W. Foster and Bros, however it used the same "F&B Sterling"

Paste jewellery is a special type of flint glass that emulates a number of gemstones. The origins of Paste jewellery date back to the mid-18th century, to a jeweller named Georges Frederic Stras, who worked as a jeweller to the king when he moved from Strasbourg to Paris in 1724.
