Fab Five - Vintage 14K White Gold Diamond Wedding Band Ring. This classic ring is crafted from 14K white gold, hallmarked 14K. Featuring 5 natural round brilliant diamonds, classic vintage styling, and quality craftsmanship. The gallery on this ring is designed in a channel set style, which securely holds the diamonds in place so they are flush. This type of setting is wonderful because the diamonds can not catch on anything, since there are no claws. The high quality diamonds sparkle beautifully against the white gold band. The ring is not too heavy, yet still substantial, and has a modernistic feel. The shank is smooth and polished, which allows for a comfortable fit and easy sizing. This vintage band is simply stunning, truly a perfect wedding band or anniversary ring to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Comments: Gorgeous ring! In wonderful condition.

Note: Appraisal included with the ring. Appraised at $3200.00 (Tax Excluded)

The earliest diamonds were found in India in 4th century BC, although the youngest of these deposits were formed 900 million years ago. A majority of these early stones were transported along the network of trade routes that connected India and China, commonly known as the Silk Road.

Although the origin of white color gold dates back to 1710, where it was discovered by two alchemists in Germany, it wasn't used widely until much later. White gold as we know it today was really popularised in the 1920s. Although it might seem strange, this luxury material came to popularity in wartime.
