Be Mine - Vintage 14K Yellow & White Gold Natural Diamond Engagement Ring . This lovely ring is crafted from 18K and 14K yellow, and white gold, hallmarked and tested, an inventory number 5104, and a makers mark. The ring features one natural round brilliant cut diamond, vintage styling, and quality craftsmanship. This pretty engagement ring is expertly claw-set with a sparkling central diamond, which is adorned with exquisite fan like detail on the sides. The ring is mostly crafted in yellow gold, with the exception of the gallery, and raised decoration. which is crafted in white gold. The two tone gold gives the ring contrast, and off-sets the diamond, and the raised detail from the rest of the ring. The shank is smooth, and polished, which allows for easy sizing, and a comfortable fit. This vintage ring would make a beautiful engagement ring for that special someone.

White gold as we know it today was really popularised in the 1920s. Although it might seem strange, this luxury material came to popularity in wartime.
