Blue & White Classic - Vintage Gold Plated Crystal Cluster Ring. This ring is crafted from gold plate, over metal. The ring features one oval cut faceted crystal, 28 round cut faceted crystal rhinestones, classic vintage styling, ands quality craftsmanship. The gallery on this ring is set with a beautiful royal blue crystal, and a double sparkling clear crystal surround. The setting is gold plated, and the band still has some of its plating remaining. The vintage era ring is known as the 'Princess Diana' style, and although it does have age related wear to the gold plate it looks fabulous on the hand.

History: Originally, rhinestones were rock crystals gathered from the river Rhine, hence the name, although some were also found in areas like the Alps (the source of the Rhine). Today the name "rhinestone" applies only to varieties of lead glass known as crystal glass.
