They feature 2 natural antique rose cut pear shape diamonds. 4 natural antique flat cut diamonds, Victorian era styling, and quality craftsmanship. These charming earrings are for pierced ears, and feature French lever back closures. The surmounts are designed as a buttercup flower motif, and delicate leaves. There is a tear drop dangle , which is attached with a loop, allowing the earring to have nice movement. Rose gold was first used in early 19th century Russia by the famed jeweler Carl Faberge in his famous Faberge Eggs, as was known as Russian Gold. Rose gold later gained popularity in the United States during the lavish and feminine 1920's, and was worn in engagement rings and fine jewelry.
