Edwardian Delicacy - Edwardian Sterling Silver Paste Gemstone Filigree Pendant & Chain. This lovely pendant is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked SILVER. Featuring genuine paste gemstones, Edwardian era styling, and quality craftsmanship. The gallery on this pendant is made in the form of a wreath, surrounded by a sea of filigree, which is adorned by sparkling clear paste gems. The pendant has been matched up to a vintage chain, hallmarked 925 for sterling silver. The chain has a secure lobster claw clasp, in perfect working order. This Edwardian era pendant would make a perfect addition to any jewelry collection. Exquisite & beautiful!
History: Most strass or paste jewelry ranges from the 18th century through about 1850, but the word has come to be used to encompass other finer imitation stones through the early 19th Century.
