The second artifact in this necklace is a beautiful Renaissance period flower ( 16th century) with traces of enamel work and a Paste Hessonite garnet gem, the gem is a glowing orange and although small still a standout in this piece.  The Ancient pieces have been matched up to a contemporary bronze chain, with a very sturdy lobster claw clasp.  The necklace hangs beautifully and looks stunning when worn, truly a very special necklace to be treasured and enjoyed for many years to come.
