Archer's Adornments - Ancient Greek Circa 500 BC Bronze 'Tri Bladed Arrowhead' Earrings . These wonderful earrings are crafted from bronze, and gold plate. Featuring authentic arrow tips, and ancient styling.  The amazing earrings are comprised of genuine Greek arrow tips, which display a deep bronze colour. They are tri bladed, which would have provided more cutting surface. However now that they have been crafted into earrings, the tri blade adds detail and dimension to the arrow-tip drops. The earrings are for pierced ears, and feature gold plated shepherd hooks and mounts.  These Ancient earrings are light on the ear and look fabulous when worn. They are unique and intriguing, truly a perfect addition to any antiquity collection.

Archaeological evidence suggests the transition from copper to bronze took place around 3300 B.C. The invention of bronze brought an end to the Stone Age, the prehistoric period dominated by the use of stone tools and weaponry.
Archery, or the use of bow and arrows, was probably developed in Africa by the later Middle Stone Age (approx. 70,000 years ago).
Bronze Arrowheads: Archaeological finds indicate that the earliest use of projectiles with such points is somewhere around 6,000 years ago; although no one can say for certain that these were shot from bows and may have been thrown, using a throwing stick .
