Luna - Ancient Roman 1st - 3rd Century Silver Open Work Lunar Wheel Pendant. This rare artifact is crafted from silver, tested. The chain is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling silver, and marked Italy. This wonderful pendant is designed as a lunar, with a beautiful triple grooved design. round the entire front of the piece. The patten is continued on to the front and back of the bale. What makes this antiquity special is the open-work wheel detail in the centre of the Lunar Moon, a combination of natural elements and technology. The back of the pendant is plain with a very nice aged patina. The chain is contemporary , sterling and made in Italy. It has a secure lobster claw clasp , in perfect working order. This authentic Ancient Roman pendant is extraordinary in design and condition, truly a unique gift or perfect addition to any early collection.
