Ancient Viking 8th-11th Century Bronze Floral Pendant. This wonderful artifact is crafted from bronze. Featuring an Ancient Viking design, and quality bronze work. This pendant has a circular shape with a raised flower in the centre. The flower has been set by using an ancient technique still used today, which is hand - wiring. The pendant still displays very slight traces of gold gilt on the front and the back. The piece has a lovely aged patina, with bead setting on the top and the bottom of the disc. There is an original bale and a contemporary bronze jump ring, which is perfect for the bronze chain which has been matched up to the piece. This fantastic artifact looks stunning when worn, truly a perfect piece for any early collection.
