Art Deco ivory celluloid & hot pink velvet ring box. This stunning box is made of ivory celluloid and silk velvet. Featuring lovely detail, scroll-work and Art Deco decoration on the lid, with scroll work on the foot with traces of the original paint. The hot pink silk velvet is a stunning contrast against the beautiful ivory. The inside is lined with ivory satin, marked SCHAEFER'S CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA. The bottom of the box is signed MADE IN USA , WS, NEW YORK. The box is hinged, and the lid closes perfectly. This wonderful treasure would be perfect for an engagement or wedding ring, a special piece, or addition to any presentation box collection.
