Art Deco regal garnet heart & marcasite necklace. This beautiful necklace is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring a genuine heart shaped faceted garnet, genuine rose-cut marcasite and quality silver work. The expertly bezel set garnet displays a beautiful rich deep red wine colour, surrounded by a delicate heart frame with little hearts within the frame. The hearts are enhanced by sparkling marcasite with two more hearts above the heart gem. The necklace's maid pendant also has scroll designs and ribbons, all encrusted with marcasite. The chain part of the necklace are made of marquise shaped links with a central set marcasite set into each link, the links have a delicate etched design which ties in beautifully with the central medallion. The necklace has a very strong and secure contemporary lobster claw clasp in perfect working order. This Art Deco necklace looks stunning when worn, it would make a perfect bridal, or special occasion necklace. Truly a precious necklace to be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come.
