This  lovely ring is crafted from gold plate over sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling, a Generations 1912 logo and WB, for Weinman Brothers. The ring features one natural oval faceted rhodolite garnet gemstone, 18 natural round cut faceted white topaz gemstones, Art Deco revival styling, and quality craftsmanship. The gallery on this ring is expertly claw-set with a beautiful rich red wine garnet, displaying reddish/purplish hues. The ring is also adorned with glowing white topaz gems, which adds more sparkle and contrast to the hand-crafted piece. History:The history of garnet dates back to the Bronze Age, more than 5000 years ago. Its name, which has been used since these ancient times, was derived from the Latin word granatium, which means pomegranate (because the small, red crystals were thought to resemble pomegranate seeds).
