Art Deco sterling silver marcasite tassel necklace. This beautiful Art Deco necklace, hallmarked 925 for sterling, and signed makers hallmark. Featuring high quality detailed silver work, a stunning design and beautiful genuine marcasites.  The design of this necklace is beautiful, the focus of this piece is the beautifully designed tassels, they hang perfectly, the setting holding the tassels are encrusted with shimmering rose-cut marcasites. The strands on these tassels are in perfect condition, there are fourteen (14) slinky strands on each tassel that sway beautifully with movement.  So often on tassel jewellery , the tassels can be damaged or broken, however this necklace has been treasured,  since the tassels chains are perfect and durable.  There is a decorative twist above the tassel on the silver central frame, panels of solid silver adorned with marcasites continue throughout the necklace. The clasp is even encrusted with marcasites, and in perfect working order.  This necklace is a very special , high quality signed piece, Absolutely stunning when worn, an Art Deco treasure to be enjoyed for many years to come.
