Art Deco Sterling Silver Pink Sapphire Paste & Marcasite Necklace. This gorgeous necklace is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked STERLING on necklace by the clasp. The piece also has a hallmark ACo for Attleboro Manufacturing Co. in Attleboro, MA, USA, started in the 1800s. This particular piece is a very fine and beautifully made Art Deco 1920s signed piece. Featuring a beautiful faceted oval-cut pink sapphire paste gem, surrounded by a silver frame, encrusted with hand set genuine rose-cut marcasites. The drop hangs from a small medallion designed as a small flower, the other parts of this articulated piece resemble a bow tie or collar, attacked is the original chain with a spring ring clasp , in perfect working order. This wonderful Art Deco treasure would make a stunning bridal or special occasion necklace. Truly a perfect gift or addition to any jewelry collection.
