Blanc Signia - Medieval 15th-17th Century Bronze Signet Ring. This wonderful artifact is crafted from bronze. Featuring Medieval era styling, and quality craftsmanship. The signet ring has a blank polished face, and lovely raised step designed shoulders, leading down to a plain smooth shank, which allows for a comfortable fit. The ring was professionally restored to its full glory and looks like how it was originally made (like gold). This process of this professional cleaning on artifacts is done by hand (no chemicals), which painstakingly has removed any unwanted build-up of centuries of corrosion. This rare artifact would make a perfect unique gift or addition to any early collection. Just wonderful!
It is recommended that the artifact is not immersed into any cleaners or liquid. To clean only use water on a damp (not saturated) soft cloth. Gently wipe the amulet and use a soft dry cloth to pat dry.
The Middle Ages was the period in European history from the collapse of Roman civilization in the 5th century CE to the period of the Renaissance (variously interpreted as beginning in the 13th, 14th, or 15th century, depending on the region of Europe and other factors).
The Renaissance is a period in European history marking the transition from the Middle Ages to modernity and covering the 15th and 16th centuries, characterized by an effort to revive and surpass ideas and achievements of classical antiquity.
This example falls into the Medieval / Renaissance era.
