Pearls & Crystals - Vintage Silver Tone Bronze Pearl & Crystal Rhinestone Flower Necklace. This charming necklace is crafted from a silver metal. The necklace features numerous round pearls(simulated), numerous crystal rhinestones, and vintage styling. This necklace is comprised of 2 strands of bronze coloured pearls, and a flower slide, which is adorned by a bronze pearl and sparkling crystal rhinestones. The necklace features a lobster-claw clasp in perfect working order. This vintage necklace would add a touch of charm and elegance to any outfit. 

History: Pearls (Simulated) Faux pearls, or imitation pearls, have a history spanning centuries, with early forms appearing in Italy as early as the 13th century, evolving from glass and alabaster-based techniques to more sophisticated methods using fish scales and other materials.

The term Rhinestone was given to the little sparkles after the river Rhine, where quartz pebbles, rock crystals with a high lead content were originally found. Folk would collect them from the shores, jewellers cutting and moulding them into little imitation diamonds.
