Chambers Of Glory - Victorian 9K Rose Gold, Garnet, Natural Pearl Engraved Locket. This lovely locket is crafted from 9K yellow gold, tested and confirmed 9K. Featuring 4 natural seed pearls,  One round cut garnet paste gem, exquisite engraving, Victorian styling and quality gold-work. The locket is oval shaped with beautiful engraving on the front and back of the piece. The front of the locket showcases an exquisite raised cross design, flanked by pearls and a central garnet gemstone. Surrounding the cross is a beautiful engraved scroll border.   The back is also engraved with lovely decoration which includes a shield and garter. The shield shape emblem can be engraved with a monogram or initials if desired. The inside of the locket has two lamenant protectors.  The locket is a back to front locket which is crafted from 9K solid gold and metal, adding strength to the piece, a characteristic of Victorian lockets. The beautiful antique locket is solid and substantial, and opens and closes well. The locket has been matched up to a 14K gold fill belcher chain.  This glorious Victorian piece looks stunning when worn, a rare design to be cherished for many years to come. 

Note: The engraving on this locket is extraordinary (beautifully detailed) even the back of the locket is engraved with a lovely foliage patten and emblem for engraving, if desired. This jewelled design is rare. Truly a wonderful piece!

Condition: Very good   Note: A tiny piece of raised appliqué has been lost in antiquity.  Not very notice and acceptable considering the age and manner(raised appliqué) of the locket.
