Conversion Of Faith - Ancient Viking 8th - 11th Century Bronze Cross Pendant. This rare cross is hand crafted from bronze, it has a beautiful aged patina and is a excavated piece. The scale of the cross is small, and It may have been worn my a woman or child. The cross has a very simple design, viking bronze jewellery was usually simple , however this is part of it's charm. The central part of the cross has a small circle with a raised cross design as the focal point. The cross branches out to more finished detail at the ends of the cross. The ends are lovely and smooth and add a design quality to the beautiful cross. I have added a contemporary bale and leather, which will preserve the original bronze bale. Truly a rare piece of history to be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come.
Measurements: 35.00 mm x 18.00 mm including bail. Leather Cord 17" - 18 1/2 " Extender available upon request.
Weight: 3.60 grams
Condition: Excellent : Fine state of preservation Note: Can be worn with care, artifacts should be treated as a luxury item.
