Cony Island Days  - Vintage Marcel Boucher Gold Tone Seashell Brooch. This collectable brooch is crafted from a gold toned metal, signed Boucher and numbered  9143 p. Featuring Vintage styling, and quality craftsmanship. This particular example is beautifully crafted with gold metal. It is made in the form of a beautiful seashell, showcasing dimension and lovely detail.  It has an attractive textured gold finish on the front and the back of the brooch . Marcel Boucher (1898–1965) was a French jeweller. In the early 1920s, he moved to New York City, where he developed a passion for jewellery design, studying under Pierre Cartier as an apprentice. By the 1930s, he was working for Mazer Brothers. In 1937 he oped his own business.
