Drakkar Hringr - Ancient Viking 8th - 11th Century Dragon Ring.  This amazing artifact is crafted from bronze. Featuring an Ancient Viking era design, wonderful detailing and quality bronze work.  This face of the ring is navette shaped with fantastic Ancient detailing including "S" shaped dragons.  Carvings of spectacular dragons were often seen on their long - ships and expressed in castings or carvings  in their jewelry making.  There is also a central design on the marquise and on the shoulders of the ring.  The shank of the ring is smooth and polished, and the cast point on the back is nicely finished.  This ring has a fabulous deep brown bronze patina.
