Edwardian 18K ruby & diamond Ring. This pretty ring is crafted from 18K Gold( hallmarked with a British assay 18ct) Featuring 5 beautiful naturally mined gemstones, in which the gemstones are arranged in an alternating configuration. The ring is claw-set with a central ruby gemstone, which is flanked by 2 smaller ruby gemstones, interspaced by 2 'old cut" diamonds. All of the gemstones are housed into a marquise shaped panel and exposed to the reverse side of the head of the ring. The upper regions of the shank exhibit ornate marquise shaped engraved markings, tear-drop open-work and twist scroll gold metalwork. There is a full crisp Chester 18ct gold assay hallmark for the year 1915( post Edwardian) on the inside circumference of the shank. The ring looks absolutely stunning when worn, truly a perfect gift, unique engagement or wedding band or a wonderful addition to any jewelry collection.
