Estate sterling silver opal & ruby necklace. This beautiful necklace is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 on clasp for sterling. Featuring genuine Ethiopian opals , genuine african rubies and quality silver work. The necklace is composed of 14 clusters of stunning expertly claw-set opals , surrounded by 10 intense vibrant red rubies in each cluster. There are also a total of 4 additional opals (2 on each side) and 4 bezel set rubies (2 on each side) that finish off the more decorative settings of gems with style. The chain is attached and hand soldered to the gem portion of the necklace, a smooth herringbone chain sits around the neck allowing this necklace to be comfortable to wear. The lobster claw clasp is a very sturdy and in perfect working order. This necklace is stunning when worn, truly a very special gift or wonderful addition to any jewelry collection.
