Estate sterling silver seed pearl & marcasite necklace. This lovely necklace is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring genuine seed pearls, genuine marcasite , quality silver work and a very attractive design. The focus on this beautiful necklace is the ornate central drop, with it's lovely ribbon like frame encrusted with sparkling rose-cut marcasite and genuine seed pearls. One of the other features on this necklace is the addition medallions and detail on the front of the chain, there are even bezel set marcasite between the links of the chain, adding even more interest and beauty to this piece. The pearls are white and lustrous, adding a lovely contrast with the fabulous patina on the piece. The chain is substantial and durable, with an additional o ring so the the necklace can be worn to your desired length. The clasp is a spring ring clasp, in perfect working order. This Victorian Revival piece would make a perfect bridal necklace, gift or addition to any jewelry collection.
