Extraordinary Colour - Edwardian 14K Australian Opal Pendant & Brooch. This stunning pendant is crafted from 14k solid gold, hallmarked 14k. Featuring 2 natural oval cabochon opals, 13 natural round cabochon opals, exquisite detail and Edwardian styling. The semi black opals have the most beautiful display of vibrant colour. The opals are fiery and the colours vary depending on the intensity of the light, ranging from hues of blue, green, orange, pink, lilac and white. The setting is delicate, however substantial, featuring lovely scrolls and bobbles, whilst the opals are expertly set with prongs and coronet settings. The 10K contemporary chain matches the pendant beautifully, strong enough to hold the pendant, however not taking away from the magnificent piece. The chain is made in Italy, hand finished with just the right amount of shine. It has a secure lobster claw clasp in perfect working order. The Edwardian era pendant can also be worn as a brooch, there is a pin at the back that securely locks into place. This beautifully made treasure would make a very special gift or wonderful addition to any jewellery collection.
