Fastener Of Antiquity- Medieval 12th-15th Century Bronze Buckle Pendant. This wonderful artifact is crafted from bronze. Featuring a Medieval design, and quality bronze work. The antiquity would have once been used as a buckle. It most likely would have had a pin that would have held the buckle in place. This particular example has a simple shape with wonderful small traces of enamel. The piece has a beautiful aged bronze patina. In the past it would have been used as a buckle on clothing, belt or straps, whilst today it makes a fantastic adornment . It has been matched up to a black leatherette adjustable cord which protects the artifact. The buckle floats on the cord like a vintage floating heart. This piece of history would make a unique gift or addition to any early collection.
