Jewelry production stopped in the early 1980s, only to begin again in the early 2000s. Early Sarah Coventry jewelry was marked “Coventry”. Other marks used were “Sarah Coventry”, “SC”, “Sarah”, “Sarah Cov”, and “SAC”.

Folklore:The name "forget-me-not" comes from folklore, such as a legend of a knight who fell into a river while picking the flowers for his beloved and cried out, "Forget me not!" as he drowned.
Forget-me-not jewelry's history is steeped in symbolism, becoming highly popular during the Victorian era (1837-1901) as a powerful emblem of true love, loyalty, and remembrance, often exchanged between lovers separated by war or travel. The motif features delicately blue forget-me-not flowers, sometimes combined with motifs like knots and clasped hands, to express enduring commitment and a promise not to forget a loved one.
