From Paris With Love - Estate 10K White Gold Diamond Eiffel Tower Pendant & Chain.  This wonderful pendant and chain is crafted from 10K white gold, hallmarked 10K.  Featuring 24 natural round cut diamonds, classic styling, and quality craftsmanship.  The pendant is created in the form of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It exhibits lovely detail and is adorned by sparking diamonds. The bale is simple and solid, and is designed so the chain simply slides through, allowing the charm to hang perfectly when worn.  The chain is also hallmarked 10K, and features a spring ring clasp in perfect working order.  The Estate pendant looks beautiful when worn, truly a lovely versatile couture pendant for any occasion.

History: The earliest diamonds were found in India in 4th century BC, although the youngest of these deposits were formed 900 million years ago. A majority of these early stones were transported along the network of trade routes that connected India and China, commonly known as the Silk Road.

Although the origin of white color gold dates back to 1710, where it was discovered by two alchemists in Germany, it wasn't used widely until much later. White gold as we know it today was really popularised in the 1920s. Although it might seem strange, this luxury material came to popularity in wartime.

The Eiffel Tower, La Tour Eiffel in French, was the main exhibit of the Paris Exposition — or World's Fair — of 1889. It was constructed to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution and to demonstrate France's industrial prowess to the world.
