Georgian rare 18K heart locket and chain. Not only is this pendant rare , it is also beautiful. With it's fine filigree, delicate flowers and heart locket that opens. The pendant is hand crafted in 18K solid gold. The chain is a 14K gold contemporary chain, therefore it is strong enough to hold the weight of the locket. The chain matches well. The locket would have been used as a reliquary or memorial piece. What a wonderful early locket for any collector or for someone who would like a unique locket for that special photograph. A beautiful piece to be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come.
