Glowing - vintage sterling silver opal filigree ring. This gorgeous ring is crafted from sterling silver, hallmarked 925 for sterling. Featuring 3 cabochon black opals (lab created), exquisite silver work created into a extraordinary design. This beautiful vintage sterling pierced setting with delicate French side bow vignettes holds a stunning trio of glowing green iridescent opal cabochons. These opals truly have a haunting green glow in the classic opalescent shimmer. The filigree work is fine and very much in the Edwardian manner, with the addition of the pretty milgrain detail around the opals, a decoration also use in the Edwardian period. These wonderful techniques are featured in this stunning vintage ring, truly a piece to be enjoyed and treasured for many years to come.
