Go Baroque - Victorian Renaissance Revival Dutch 18K Gold & Sterling Silver Rose Cut Diamond Ornate Baroque Revival Ring. This gorgeous ring is crafted from 18K yellow gold, hallmarked 750 (European hallmark for 18K), and 925 for sterling silver. The ring features 3 natural rose cut diamonds, Baroque Renaissance Revival styling, and quality craftsmanship. The gallery on this ring is expertly bezel set with a glowing hand-cut central rose cut diamond. The diamond is enhanced by two smaller rose cut diamonds and a sea of scrolls and ornate detailing. Once in a while I come across a piece, which also showcases a lower gallery which is just as beautiful as the top portion of the ring... this is most definitely one of those pieces. The lower portion of the gallery is beautifully rendered in 18K gold, showcasing wonderful ornate pierce-work, which can been seen from its side profile and at the bottom of the ring. The shank is dainty yet substantial, with a polished and smooth finish. This type of shank allows for easy sizing and a comfortable fit. This exquisite Victorian era ring would make a perfect gift or a wonderful addition to any vintage jewelry collection.
