Golden Gift - Vintage Gold Plated 'Grossé 1964 Germany' Bow Brooch. This lovely brooch is crafted from fold plate over base metal. Featuring Vintage styling and high quality craftsmanship. This beautiful brooch is created in the form of a bow, featuring exquisite detailing on the front of the bow and a high polish on the back of the piece. The bow is signed Grosse, 1964 , Germany. The back of the bow features a pin and secure roll over lock mechanism, in perfect working order. The gold plate on these high quality pieces is applied on very thick, therefore much better quality than contemporary gold-plate. This highly collectible brooch would make the most perfect gift for that special someone.

Grossé was founded by Mr Heinrich Henkel and Mr Florentin Grossé, located at the famous goldsmith town, Pforzheim, in Germany. They designed for Christian Dior in the 1950s and 1960s.
